ShelfGenie Designer – Create Spaces Clients Love

We're looking for a talented and driven Designer to join our ShelfGenie team! If you’re someone who loves working with people, has a great eye for design, and isn’t afraid to hustle a bit to build your pipeline — this might be your dream gig.

At ShelfGenie, we transform our clients' lives by designing custom glide-out shelving and storage solutions that make their homes more functional and enjoyable. Our Designers are the heart of that transformation.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Meet with homeowners (in-home) to assess their needs and design custom storage solutions
  • Use our tools to create designs and proposals — we provide training!
  • Follow up with clients, close sales, and hand off projects to the installation team
  • Help generate your own appointments through networking, referrals, and local partnerships (think realtors, organizers, interior designers, builders, etc.)
  • Build relationships with past clients to generate ongoing referrals
  • Always be learning — our best Designers constantly improve their skills and grow their income


Who We're Looking For

You're a great fit if you are:

  • A natural networker who doesn’t wait around for leads — you go find them
  • Passionate about home design and helping people
  • Comfortable with in-home sales conversations
  • Driven to grow your income and build a personal brand
  • Organized, proactive, and ready to learn
  • Previous experience in design, sales, real estate, home improvement, or working with our demographic is a bonus, but not required

This Role Is 1099 / Independent Contractor
